Yahoo, I won!! Really fun spin on minesweeper, the perfect balance between a pseudo-sudoku-esque math puzzle, minesweeper, and "fuck it we ball" energy if you really feel like it.

Entirely unremarkable other than the fact that, intentional or not, it pretty much starts the same way Super Meat Boy does, which got a laugh out of me.
Incredibly easy and simple, offers no challenge whatsoever.
Honestly I'm very, *very* impressed seeing something like this come out of an engine like Scratch, considering the ridiculously low bar set by the average submission using it.
However, I feel like there's definitely room to improve when it comes to the movement, the character feels way too slow walking, *especially* for something so inspired by Sonic. Wall kicks like how they are in MegaMan X, or something along those lines would also be nice, as I got pretty stuck trying to get out of the pit around the middle of the stage for a while, until i seemingly clipped onto a platform above it.
It's just a Flappy Bird clone, with added groundwork for future monetization/ads thrown at you as soon as you start the game.
Do better.
"Aw omg this is so cute! This seems fun!"
*Cookies explode outwards upon damage*
"SONIC THE HEDGEHOG??"
Has potential, but lacks a LOT of polish, such as the terrain and bg being plain black n white, lack of sounds or music, the platforms acting like they're slightly rounded, or any real driving force behind making progress or playing
Also, really bizzarre size, why is the game so large?
Even without reading the description (something I should admittedly do more often, especially browsing under judgement), the overall quality and simplicity of the graphics made me instinctively wonder if I was being Maze Game'd (I was)
Neat homage I suppose, but plain ol' screamers like this aren't anything special nowadays, especially ones where the bulk of the scare is supposed to come from the sudden loud noise (ow my ears)
Hey, thanks a lot for your detailed feedback! The simplicity of the graphics comes from me trying to capture that classic 2000s Flash style. Plus, I’ll admit, I’m still pretty new to sprite creation—but hey, we all start somewhere, right?
I’ll definitely aim to create more modern and engaging games in the future. Your feedback really helps me see where I can improve, so thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts!
Doesn't work, clicking play brings up a 404
Edit: Working now!! Pretty cute :3
It's okay to be wrong. Just don't tilt over it, idiot!!
